Hi! We are Jon & Heather Turgeon from the sailboat "Evergreen", a Tashiba 40 and we're sailing around the world. Although we didn't plan it, cruising & living aboard has been a part of our lives since 1997 when we first quit our jobs and sailed south to the Bahamas for a year. Little did we know we'd be hooked! We never moved back ashore. We've returned to our respective careers of computer programming & nursing only to leave again on another adventure sometime later. We embarked on a circumnavigation in 2011 and somewhere in the Pacific, Jon started really thinking about a site like VentureFarther. After a few years of development in between cruising and boat projects, it has finally come together and we're pretty excited about it!
