Anchorage Facts
Depth meters
Bottom Type Sand

This is the only anchorage for Lagos as there is no anchoring inside the breakwaters. It is totally exposed to East & South winds as well as ocean swell. There are also yellow buoys marking the swim area for the beach. Good holding in sand and you can take the dinghy in to town and put it either up the boatramp near the old fort or in the fishermans's harbor at their dinghy dock. We kept our boat in the nice anchorage at Alvor and dinghied to Lagos.

Features
  • If it is too rolly on the boat you can take to the beach!
