This is a very protected anchorage just inside the channel between North and South Stradbroke Island (QLD - AU). A deep hole can accommodate 15+ vessels and is very protected from NE-NW and SE-SW winds (i.e. it is orientated mostly E-W). Good holding and plenty of swing room. Bring the mossie/midgie protection in calm weather. This anchorage is at the bottom end of the Canaipa Passage. Isolated with no shopping or facilities. Clean water near top of tide for water making.
